DoJiggy Customers, Partners & Friends,

This quarter, we welcome Fall — a season of beginnings and endings. Schools and Universities open their doors and students begin a new school year absorbing new knowledge and embarking on exciting endeavors.

Nonprofits and community organizations close their calendar year with final appeals for end-of-year donations, evaluations of 2011 fundraising campaigns and beginning preparations for new and improved fundraising initiatives in the coming year.

We hope you are able to accomplish your 2011 goals, and are here to assist you in creating successful fundraising campaigns for 2012.

What's New from DoJiggy

We are excited to announce our Fundraising Library!

The fundraising library was created as yet another new resource to assist you in your fundraising efforts. The Library includes many helpful fundraising resources for team leaders and participants including: detailed software instructions, tips for planning and preparation, sample donation request letters, and numerous downloadable forms.  Just send your participants to our Facebook page for them to easily use and share these tools.

DoJiggy strives to provide more than software by offering helpful guidelines and examples to help fundraising participants and organizations be more successful in their fundraising efforts.  In addition to our new fundraising library, we also consistently update our Fundraising Resources and share helpful hints and case studies on our blog Online Fundraising Today

End-of-Year Fundraising

It’s time to get serious about your end-of-year fundraising campaigns. Studies show that between 40 and 70% of all donations are made at the end of the year. This is your best opportunity to inspire donors to give and give generously!

Here are a few end-of-year fundraising strategies to consider:
·         Personally reach out to major donors who have yet to give in 2011
·         Consider a fundraising campaign (such as an online auction) to tie-in with the Holiday Season
·         Send an end-of-year appeal to all prospects. Remind them it’s their last chance to make a difference and receive a tax deduction this year.
·         Follow through with email & phone calls the last few days of December (40% of online donors give in December with half of these donations coming in on 12/30-12/31)
