DoJiggy Announces Call for Grant Proposals
FOR IMMEDIATE REALEASE
Online fundraising software services provider, DoJiggy, today announced a call for grant proposals for their 2010 DoJiggy Giving™ program. DoJiggy Giving supports non-profit and community organizations through donating a percentage of the company's annual profits as well as in-kind services. Last year the company received more than fifty applications and awarded seven organizations with cash grants in the amount of $500 - $1,000. This year DoJiggy will award a minimum of $7,500 in cash grants to deserving organizations in the US and abroad.
"We are continually inspired by the work of our clients and others in the non-profit industry and have developed the DoJiggy Giving program to further promote this work," said Lisa Bennett, Director of Sales. "As our company continues to grow, we are proud to give-back by supporting schools and non-profit organizations dedicated to making our world a better place."
Recipients of cash donations are selected based on the following criteria:
- Overview of the organization’s cause and need for financial support
- Purpose of funding including a description of goals and objectives, planned activities to accomplish these goals, and a timetable for implementation
- Expected results during funding period and evaluating measures of success
To be eligible for a DoJiggy Giving grant, an organization must have 501(c)3 or equivalent non-profit status. All schools & educational institutions are also eligible and are exempt from this requirement. Recipient organizations must also have a budget of less than $1 million USD. Grants are not limited to US-based companies. International organizations are encouraged to submit an application along with international non-profit documentation in place of the 501(c)3 IRS letter.
To be considered for this year's awards, organizations must submit an online application. The deadline for application submission is November 30, 2010 at 11:59 pm (MST). Award recipients will be notified by year's end. (Organizations are not eligible to win awards in consecutive years).
