DoJiggy Announces a Free Webinar "Hosting a Successful School Walk-a-thon"
FOR IMMEDIATE REALEASE
Online fundraising software provider, DoJiggy, will host a free webinar on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 11 am - 12 pm (PST). The webinar, titled "Hosting a Successful School Walk-a-thon" is presented by Suzanne Oehler, founder of Yapper Girl, a firm dedicated to bringing online fundraising to local non-profits and schools.
The webinar will discuss the benefits of implementing an online fundraising campaign for schools hosting a walk-a-thon or similar fundraising event. Topics include: evaluating financials, selecting online software and payment services, managing event registrations and donations, discussing key elements of a walk-a-thon website, and promoting the event within the community.
The DoJiggy and Yapper Girl partnership provides an optimal solution for school fundraising campaigns. Yapper Girl works with schools to manage their transition from paper-based programs to Internet fundraising, in cooperation with DoJiggy's easy-to-use, affordable online software tools, helping organizations increase efficiency and fundraising results. "With Suzanne's guidance and DoJiggy's online tools and customized websites, schools raise more money by extending the reach of their giving campaigns," explains Lisa Bennett, Director of Sales at DoJiggy.
This free webinar is one part of DoJiggy's "back-to-school" campaign, launched this August in an effort to help kick-start fundraising for the 2010/2011 school year. The back-to-school campaign includes a special $100 discount for school organizations on any DoJiggy online fundraising software purchase through September 30, 2010. DoJiggy has also created a school fundraising resource center with numerous fundraising tips and tools for schools, school associations, and university fundraising.
