GrowingGreat is a 501(c)3 nonprofit school garden and nutrition education organization dedicated to inspiring children and adults to adopt healthy eating habits in order to affect real and lasting lifestyle changes. GrowingGreat believes that educating children and adults about the important role good food plays in their overall health is critical to the future health of our communities.

Proceeds of the GrowingGreat Auction benefit and fund the organization’s expansion in the Los Angeles community.

The Center for Anti-Violence Education

The Center for Anti-Violence Education (CAE) is home to a host of highly effective, free after-school programs for teens, as well as vital self-defense and empowerment programs for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. CAE helps participants build skills to prevent, counter and heal from violence in their lives and communities.

CAE’s Punch-a-thon is a fundraiser that supports community participation through the physical activity of punching to raise funds to prevent violence and promote self defense.

Margaret Okari Children’s Foundation

Margaret Okari Children’s Foundation

The plight of many African children who have suffered the loss of one or both parents to HIV/AIDS constitutes one of the gravest humanitarian and human rights crises in history. The Margaret Okari Children’s Foundation is 501(c)3 nonprofit organization who is building an Elementary boarding school in Kenya. Their mission lies in helping these orphaned children who need a community of nurturing adults committed to raising them and dedicated to educating them and bringing out their full potential. Although this does not replace the families they have lost, these children gain physical and emotional fulfillment from their larger school families.

The funds raised during their Thanksgiving Auction go directly to help educate the children and run this amazing school.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Rocky Mountain Chapter

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. Their mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.

Since 1993, participants in Leukemia Cup Regatta events throughout the country have raised over $38 million in funding for LLS’s mission.
