This is a FUN opportunity to raise money for our school. Our kids will have 30 minutes to run, walk, skip, dance and exercise their way around the track while parents and supporters line the course to cheer them on! Proceeds from the Bobcat Dash will help fund the Barretts Elementary PTO. Every unrestricted dollar contributed will be used to provide for the outstanding faculty, programs, and improved facilities that directly benefit our students every day. The best part is we keep 100% of the money you pledge right here at the school.
Join us for this quiet day of meditation in community and/or make a donation by sponsoring a sitter. Montpelier Shambhala is an all-volunteer led organization, supported 100% by donations and program fees. We provide a community based, welcoming meditation center that is open to all people. Through mindfulness meditation we practice opening our hearts to our community and aspire to create an enlightened society.

Giving Gracefully was started so that we could REACH OUT in our local communities. Far too often, there are people struggling without a place to go to get help – immediately. We’ve learned that there aren’t enough funds and enough resources to go around. There is involved paperwork, and delays, when most people that we interact with need help NOW.
Kay’s Kamp is the vision of Kaylyn E. Warren who was stricken with Leukemia at the age of 17. For most of Kaylyn’s treatment she was a patient at Christiana Care Hospital and the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, except for a brief 2 month stretch spent in Seattle at the Fred Hutchinson Center. There, Kay hoped to receive a life saving stem cell transplant but her leukemia was too strong and being unable to remain in remission, the transplant never happened.

We are all busy parents with a million priorities and places to dedicate time. So instead of selling wrapping paper door-to-door or other time consuming and not very profitable methods, we are going to make it simple this year. We are asking you to please consider a donation of $20 or more per student in honor of Mount Baker Middle School’s 20th Year! If every family contributes what they are able to do, we will reach our goal!
